What is STARK Drive Systems?

STARK Drive Systems is a Swiss-founded manufacturer of industrial drive equipment. The range runs from low-voltage electric motors up to high-voltage machines of 100 MW, plus stainless-steel washdown motors, variable frequency drives, forced-ventilation cooling, pumps, gears and linear-motion components. Everything meets IEC and NEMA standards and ships from European stock, handled through one contact who speaks your language. STARK supplies steel mills, cement and paper plants, power stations and mining operations worldwide.

Product range

Nine product lines, one drive-train supplier

STARK covers the whole drive train — from the motor to the drive, cooling, gearing and power distribution — with components designed to work together.

Why STARK

One supplier for the whole drive train

STARK's case is simple: European engineering, on the shelf, from one point of contact — with parts built to fit each other.

  • Designed to synergize. Motors, drives, cooling and gearing are built to work as one system.
  • Compact builds. Ultra-compact drive packages that fit tight installations.
  • EU-engineered components. Designed and built to European standards.
  • Available from stock. Held in a European warehouse for fast delivery.
  • One point of contact. A single person handles the whole order.
  • Tested to be compatible. Extensive testing so the parts work together.
  • Support in your language. Technical advice from people who speak it.

Industries & track record
